Date Energy Balls

for a quick energy boost

20-24 Energy balls

Ingredients: 

- 12 pitted dates (250g)

- 180g  almonds or walnuts

- 2tsp cocoa powder

- 2tbsp coconut oil

- 1/4 tsp cinnamon

- Grated coconut

Preparation: 

  1.  Put all the ingredients except the grated coconut  in a tall beaker and puree them  to a homogeneous mass.

  2. Now form the energy balls from this mass, they should have a diameter of approx. 2-2.5cm. If the mass is too sticky, you can wet your hands. 

  3. Roll the now formed balls in the grated coconut and place them on a plate. Cover the plate with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
