Date nut bar

The nutty snack in between

Preparation time:

at least 1 hour

Ingredients:

-30g tree nuts

-25g of almonds

 -75g dates,

-1tbsp cocoa powder

 -1tbsp coconut oil,

-1 pinch of sea salt

 

Preparation:

  1. Toast the walnuts and almonds in a pan until fragrant and lightly browned.

  2.  Coarsely chop the toasted nuts in a food processor.

  3. Core the dates and put them in the food processor as well. Blend everything well until you have a sticky mixture.

  4. Add the cocoa powder, coconut oil and salt and mix well again.

  5. Press the mixture into a rectangular shape and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.

  6. Remove the cooled mass from the mold and cut into small bars.
